Special Aachen Am Samstagabend empfing die Alemannia den 1. FC Bocholt auf dem Tivoli. Dort gab es eine Vertragsverlängerung, ein heinze-igartiges Comeback, aber leider nur einen Punkt – trotz 15:2 Ecken. Ist alles andere als Standard: die Netzschau.

Samstagabend, 19.30 Uhr, Tivoli: Alemannia Aachen empfing den 1. FC Bocholt. Nach zwei Siegen in Folge sollte gegen die Mannschaft aus dem Westmünsterland der dritte Dreier in Serie folgen. Vor allem mit dem Hintergrund des Hinspiels, das die Schwarz-Gelben in der Gigaset Arena mit 0:2 abgeben mussten.

Nach den Schneefällen am Mittwoch in und um Aachen und noch ein paar Flocken am Freitagabend stand das Spiel zwischenzeitlich auf der Kippe, aber der Wettergott hatte ein Erbarmen mit allen Beteiligten und ließ am Samstag zwischendurch sogar die Sonne zum Spielen raus. Der Rasen war grün, die Temperaturen in Ordnung, das Flutlicht lief oder einfach in kurz und knapp: Es war Matchday!

Wie aber schon geschrieben, fand das Spiel am Abend statt. 19.30 Uhr statt 14 Uhr. Für manche ganz praktisch, denn so hatte man mehr vom Samstag. Für andere passte die Anstoßzeit nicht ganz in den Terminkalender.

Das wohl letzte Spiel an einem Samstagabend für die Alemannia war 2004, allerdings nicht auf dem Tivoli, sondern im Berliner Olympiastadion: DFB-Pokal-Finale gegen Werder Bremen…

Dieser Absatz gibt Zeit für das Schwelgen in Nostalgie: „Eins kann uns keiner, eins kann uns keiner, eins kann uns keiner nehmen und das ist das Endspiel gegen Bremen!“

Zurück zum Tagesgeschehen: Hintergrund für diese ungewöhnliche Anstoßzeit war die zeitlgleich stattfindende Euregio Wirtschaftsschau auf dem CHIO-Gelände direkt nebenan.

Insgesamt waren wieder fast 8000 Zuschauer vor Ort an der Krefelder Straße. Auf die eigenen Fans können sich Trainer Helge Hohl und sein Team verlassen. Das haben sie sich in dieser Saison aber auch erarbeitet!

Und mit dieser freudigen Nachricht ging es dann auch los! Pünktlich um 19.30 Uhr pfiff Schiedsrichter Tarik Damar die Partie an – und hatte von da an vor allem einen Job: Ecken für die Alemannia anzeigen. Die Hausherren machten von Beginn an Druck, Druck und noch mehr Druck. Wirklich gefährlich wurde es aus dem Spiel heraus nicht, denn die Bocholter verteidigten alles irgendwie weg. Mussten aber einen Eckball nach dem anderen hinnehmen. Allein der Erfolg für die Gastgeber nach den vielen ruhenden Bällen blieb aus…

Nach dem Spiel sagte Trainer Hohl, dass die ersten sechs, sieben Eckbälle noch gut und gefährlich waren, hintenraus – am Ende waren es 15 Eckbälle für die Alemannia – wurden sie dann immer schlechter ausgeführt.

Lange Rede, kurzer Sinn: Trotz der Menge an Eckbällen fiel für die Aachener kein Tor. Mit viel Pech hätte die Partie erneut an die Bocholter gehen können, denn in der zweiten Halbzeit hatten die Schwarz-Weißen hintenraus noch eine große Chance. Doch die Alemannia schaffte das dritte Spiel in Folge ohne Gegentor. Und so blieb es am Ende beim Unentschieden und der Punkteteilung.

Viel wichtiger aber im Laufe des Spiels: Nach langer Verletzungspause gab es in der 75. Minute ein heinze-igartiges Comeback: Alexander Heinze, Innenverteidiger und Mister Cool der Defensive feierte seine Rückkehr auf dem Platz! Am Ende steht das dritte ungeschlagene Spiel in Folge, das dritte Spiel ohne Gegentreffer und die Erkenntnis, dass Ecken weiterhin nicht DAS Mittel der Alemannia in der Offensive sind.
